Date: Mon, 12 Aug 2002 19:26:38 -0700 From: Matt Small <[email protected]> Another issue that's come up for us recently... configure defines the specific platform information that several headers need (like -DLINUX or -DSUNOS). However, this state isn't exported, so programs using the library have to reimplement the same checking code, with the same -D command line options. I'm thinking that a better solution for this would be a config.h, generated by autoconf, that both beepcore-c and programs linking in beepcore-c could use. If I put this together, would you all be interested? Is there a different way that would be preferable? The beepcore-c-config program, which I added in the last round of changes, provides this information. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: Dice - The leading online job board for high-tech professionals.
