Just FYI-

I implemented a very lightweight seda architecture in python when working
on my aborted pybeep project. http://pybeep.sf.net

I never got to dealing with TLS. There are strategies, afaik, for dealing
with I/O that can't be "staged", and TLS might be one such case.
