I haven't really considered it because of this text from Section 2.3.1.3 :
o the textual diagnostic (which may be multiline) is meaningful to
implementers, perhaps administrators, and possibly even users, but
never programs.
However, if there is a good reason for adding I'll certainly take a look at
what it would take.

If I understand the RFC3080 correctly, a close message can have a content
associated with it. As far I can see, there is no way to have access to it
from the library (no similar parameter as in
StartChannelListener.startChannel() nor a method on the Channel class). If
I'm missing something, could you, please, point me on the right direction?
If not, are there plans to include this capability in the future?
