Hi Bjoern, We (the Threatman team) are currently planning a threat management application for firewalls, IDSs, apps and such to correlate events. For the underlying protocol we are using BEEP and therefor the roadrunner implementation. Threatman is still in a planning phase, but we also already published a BEEP profile RRTLSIDXP which requires the use of TLS when sending IDMEF using IDXP (it can be found in our cvs, see http://sourceforge.net/projects/threatman). Threatman is GPL'ed. We found that roadrunner really fits our needs, and also the support via this mailinglist is more than good. Well, not (yet?) industrial strength, but maybe this info may help you as well. Have a nice weekend, Sandro > > Hi, > as I am currently evaluating BEEP for inter App communication in project I > wondered if there allready are any "industrial strength" applications making > use of RoadRunner-beep or BEEP in general. > Thanks for any references and pointers. > Bjoern Latte
