Hi,

This is not a glib2 problem, it is a gtk-doc problem.

This is because RedHat 7.3 comes with an old version (0.5.9) of the gtk-doc 
package. So the solution to this compile problem is to upgrade this package 
to version 0.9 or greater or to simply remove it.
