Hi everybody, long time no see. :)

I'm not that skeptical.  Bit Torrent is one of the P2Ps that is easy 
to estimate traffic on, because it's got centralized control 
systems, Trackers, that can keep records of all the stuff they do.  
Now, there is no SINGLE centralized system that runs everything of 
course, so there is plenty of room for error in the estimations, so 
you can be somewhat skeptical of this high percentage of P2P traffic.

I use WinMX, and as far as I can tell it has no centralized tracking 
system, just super nodes that give other nodes the ability to search 
for stuff, or something.

I've used Freenet, but the current version of Freenet is absolute 
crude IMHO.  The first few versions were awesome though, I even had 
my own Freesite within Freenet's network.  I had invented a new 
innovative way of updating the site so that it would have minimum 
negative impact on the network, while having maximum quality of data 
updates. :)  But then they went and threw out the original code and 
started from scratch, and botched the whole thing. :(

I've used Kazaa to find stuff, it's a neat Idea, but I hated all the 
stupid adware and spyware crud it put on my system.  Stuff that's 
impossible to get rid of, BTW.  If I could find a good version of 
Kazaa Lite, as in no adware and crud, I'd probably use it.

Hmmm, let's see, what other P2P systems have I used?  I really can't 
remember right now, but I think there are at least 3 others.

I also really like using IRC for file trading.  Lots of good stuff 
can be found in a great many IRC channels.  But, it can be very hard 
to find anything specific.

I have my own tracker now because the Suprnova.org site and trackers 
were not letting me do anything.  The unfortunate thing is, no body 
knows about my tracker, so my torrents are going unnoticed.  Oh well.
