secure connection

The news service I subscribe to is now offering secure connection. 

I think this requires secure capacity in my newsreader. Do we have
that with BNR3? I've highlighted the server and checked "properties",
but could not find any reference to secure in there.

If this is not now available, are there any plans to implement it in
the near future?


I've been using BNR nearly from the beginning and have been thankful
and impressed as I have watched it develop. It seems just about
perfect now. The only problem I am having is with the massive groups,
and in my situation, the very slow loading of headers. Some groups
take a couple of days. But there are workarounds. I think BNR is still #1.
