I don't know what Giganews's search utility is if it's not XPAT.  If
you are talking about connecting to a search engine on a web site to
get results, BNR only communicates with NNTP sites.  If you are
talking about downloading NZB file from a website and importing those
into a browser, then BNR does support that.
