Sorry. You're right. Those are not lite newsgroup readers. Newsman pro is one of the most heavy ones I've seen around. So many options. Free Agent is lighter than newsman pro but still not very light and Xnews well maybe it might be considered light but only in relation to Agent and Newsman Pro. Hmm. Not sure about a light newsgroup reader as I don't use em but probably one of the browser built in ones like what was mentioned already or something like that. I'm probably dating myself here but you could always go old school and use rn or trn which are the ones I used when I first started on the internet.
