Hey if it works it works. I've used BNRx for many years now and unless something happens to horribly break it or someone comes out with something better I'll continue to use it. I am a software developer by profession and so any time I find myself using software but needing extra tools and such to work around things I always add to my wish list features that would make my life easier. That's really what its all about. BNR right now works fine. In fact there is only three things that would make BNR3 IMO perfect for me. 1. Add the more advanced filtering system Jeff mentioned years ago. 2. Tune and tighten the thread grouping. Perhaps even add a tolerance slider so that we can determine just how tight it should be. 3. Add back the ability to rebuild the queue. None of the above are essential of course but if those three things were done...oh man. Now one kinda nice to have would be the ability to use external SQL databases. Newsman Pro does this and it works great. I was able to use either SQLServer or MySQL. Other than the obvious benefits to using a real DBMS is the ability to have BNR run on one machine and the database on another. Again non-essential but would be cool.
