OK, I decided to TRY BNR3. Same problem, even worse, more than 
30,000 .tmp files in my \Windows\temp folder. Eventually I had to 
end BNR3 through task manager and then delete the .tmp files.

Anyone know a news reader that can read millions of headers without 
choking? Thx.
