Hi,

I want to keep a "clean" bnr3.ini file for future use after I reinstall my
PC. I'll delete everything including Windows and start again. I don't want
to enter all my server data etc. by hand but I do want to have a clean
database, no settings I might have changed and regtret it later. ;-) etc.
In the ini file are several counters that I don't need but what is the
minimum I can get away with?

Let's assume I want just the servers I use with their settings like
priority, chunk xover commands, etc and the groups I am assigned to. That's
it. No screen settings or other stuff. What lines to I need?

Probably:
[Config]
INIversion=6
    If I leave everything else out of the Config section will BNR fill in
the blanks with default values?

[Server:0]
    Do I need this section? Will BNR fill in the blanks with the defaults?

[Server:1]
Type=02
Parent=0
Name=NewsZilla
Host=newszilla.xs4all.nl
Port=119
    I assume I need those lines. But do I need these?
Flags=A2A80020
    What is Flags for?
ChunkSize=10000
    This one I want to keep

DailyTotal=3118194
DailyBodies=3119006
DailyLastReset=947126432
DailyReset=10
MonthlyTotal=118921834
MonthlyBodies=118618701
MonthlyReset=12
MonthlyLastReset=946687139
ServerMode=Normal
    What is servermode? The rest are simply counters I can skip I assume?

About the groups.
[Group:0]
Type=00
Parent=-1
Name=Newsgroups
Flags=12000030
DecodeDir=D:\Documents and Settings\bonno\Mijn documenten\My BNR3 Downloads\
PrimarySort=Subject
SecondarySort=Filename
    Most if this is default, kan I simply skip it?

[Group:1]
Type=02
Parent=0
Name=alt.binaries.multimedia.startrek
Flags=13000020
PrimarySort=Subject
SecondarySort=Filename
    Do I need al of the above lines or just the Type, Parent and Name?

FilterHist=tng,dsn,ds9_s1,"dsn s5d1",ds9s4,ds9,ds9_,st_ds9,ruimtes,ruimte
LastOpen=946836900
NewCount=3271
    These three I don't need I think
