Man, who pissed in your Wheaties?

I was wondering if anyone knows if the source code to BNR is available or who the original author is and how to contact them.

Good thing its not up to you, but I expect that you can say what you want

its not like it matters.

When someone comes up with something *real* that BNRx cant do I expect

that there will be some more devel, for me I 'still' cant find another

news down loader that can come close.

Lets face it if your not happy with BNR fuck off elsewhere, it still

amazes me that people ask for stuff and its been there for ages (first

fucking option), they just need to be spoon fed.

I have not long said this in another usenet group, come up with something

REAL that BNRx cant do, and lots of other news down loaders already have.

I get TB's of data with all of my BNRx setups they can work while I am

away getting stuff from my want lists happily working for weeks, they all

(all of my BNR installs across my networks) keep my usenet.csv file up to

date so I have a single file to search to see if I have 'ever' downloaded

something, I have loads of servers all being fed from a single overview

server, people think this .nzb thing is new saving you from downloading

headers, I have been doing the equivalent for years.

I will say that there does seem to be a problem when running more than 15

servers. and some of the newer servers I have been working with cause a

error in/with TConnection. Execute! and mean you have to start the server

as a group, but like every other long standing BNR err. there is a simple

work around.

just because somethings have a new version every month does not make it

better, why try to fix something that is not broke.
