No he is not either of the developers of BNR. They both have more
class and I have much respect for both of them and wish them good
fortune in whatever they are doing. Their names are Jeff and Patrick.
Patrick is the original author and Jeff came on board later. I also
hope that they'll come back to BNR and implement some of the things
they were talking about doing so many years ago.

For me personally there were really only a few things I wanted for BNR3.

1. Auto rebuilding of the queue like BNR2 does. Patrick hadn't added
this because as he told me the latest BNR3 was not complete. He'd
worked primarily on the new header grouping code and that was what he
was testing and would add that back.
2. Jeff spoke of a more advanced filtering system. Similiar to the
scoring system many other newsreaders have.

Anything of the other things would be nice to haves but really those
two things would be a great.

If you are interested you can do a search and go back to when Patrick
and Jeff were active in this group and you'll see our discussions.
