I have BNR2 and works fine for my needs. Verizon is my ISP, I use their server (news.verizon.net) up till recently for my newsgroups. Verizon recently removed all main newsgroups except for 8. As a result, one of my newsgroups, such as alt.security.pgp is now gone. Can I use BNR2 to connect to Usenet in some way without going through Verizon? If so, how do I do it? When I first connected to the internet some years back on my very first ISP, I recall connecting to usenet and got a list of thousands of newsgroups to choose from. Is it possible to do it again? Any help would be most appreciated.
