I installed ubuntu 9.04 last week and after seeing this thread, decided to see about installing bnr on ubuntu. I have to say, I followed the directions by putting the distribution and libraries into the local directory, extracted them, fired up bnr and everything worked fine. Since I am not a Linux guru, I was impressed. I do have one question. In the bnr script, it starts bnr with a bnr "$@" and I am not sure what is replaced for $@. I would like to create several directories under my home directory for different sets to keep the database sizes smaller.
