You're not alone -- I had to do the same things with certain OIDs for our
Moto CMTS.

Use OID/REGEXP for that. This requires a SINGLE OID to be parsed/walked.
This
base OID MUST include both indices to get it working.

If this is not the case, you will write a SCRIPT DATA QUERY in your favorite
programming language to get the OID indices wherever you want. See
http://docs.cacti.net for a full walkthrough for this method.
