dual scaled/fixed graphs for same device

I have a hobby installation of cacti 8.8, all's running well, thanks

how do I go about having both fixed scale and floating scale for same
devices, say I have some port on a switch, I would like to see them
all-same-scale (which makes low usage not show low usage); and, floating
scale where low usage shows

at this time; I edit graph templates between:
--alt-autoscale-max (accepting a lower limit)
--alt-autoscale-min (accepting an upper limit, requires rrdtool 1.2.x)

save, and, refresh view, edit/save/refresh; that's fine,

but what's the best way to have two sets, do I simply copy desired
graph-template to a new file name, and, do it that way, graph-template-max
and graph-template-min?
