Cacti not polling my router anymore

Dear Community,

I am using Cacti 0.8.8a on CentOS Linux. It has been running for a while
now, but I recently ran into some problems where my Traffic graphs stops
updating.

First time it happened it seemed to be connected to an import of new
Cacti templates. I fixed it by removing all the old graphs and re-adding
them again - but we lost all historical data.

Now we have run into the same issue again, but this time only for a
single router. The router was rebooted around the same time the graphs
stopped working, which could be related to the problem.

When I show a graph list for the router, all the graphs are listed, but
the "Template Name" was reset to "None".

The CPU graph still works fine and the new graph I added (ID 601) works
fine as well - and according to Spine, they are also the only graphs
being polled:

I tried to select a template for graph 224 and 225, but this did not help.

The table "poller_item" only contains three entries for the host:
mysql> select hostname, rrd_name, rrd_path, arg1 from poller_item where
hostname='rtr3.cnx.awareidc.com';
+-----------------------+-------------+----------------------------------+--------------------------+
| hostname | rrd_name | rrd_path
| arg1 |
+-----------------------+-------------+----------------------------------+--------------------------+
| rtr3.cnx.awareidc.com | 5min_cpu | /usr/share/cacti/rra/49/474.rrd
| .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58.0 |
| rtr3.cnx.awareidc.com | traffic_in | /usr/share/cacti/rra/49/1019.rrd
| .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.19 |
| rtr3.cnx.awareidc.com | traffic_out | /usr/share/cacti/rra/49/1019.rrd
| .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16.19 |
+-----------------------+-------------+----------------------------------+--------------------------+

I know I can delete all the graphs again and re-add them, but I'd like
to find a better fix for this where I don't lose all my historical data.
If possible I'd also like to know what causes this to happen, and what I
can do to avoid it from happening again.

Does anyone have any ideas for what to do next?

Best Regards,
