Poller not running my script

Hi,

I have a  script that extracts some application statistics from a database.
I've created a data input method, data source and a graph .. however I see
errors in the cacti log.

SPINE: Poller[0] Host[0] ERROR: Empty result []: '/usr/bin/python
/var/lib/cacti/scripts/myscript.py'

I've put in some debugging statements in the script that write to a log
file in /tmp. When I run the script manually everything works fine, however
when the poller tries to run the script I get no output in my /tmp log file
and the above error message in cacti log.

I don't think it's a permissions issue; the poller runs as user "cacti" and
the script is owned by that user:

-rwxr-xr-x 1 cacti cacti 7633 Jan  4 16:48 myscript.py



Turning debugging to DEVEL doesn't yield any information about exec
failure. Is there somewhere that cacti keeps this type of message (e.g.,
permissions problem, file not found, etc.)?
