Hi All,

Further to my last post, it would seem that you can't accurately
generate 95th percentile values directly from rrdtool (do please let
me know if I am wrong, and you can provide a working example though!)

I have found a few references on the Internet to people struggling
with this [1].

The obvious answer to me seemed to be to write a script to pull the
values from an rrd file and generate the 95th for me. I have written a
small bash script [2] which does just that (this whole exercise for me
was to pull values and chuck them into an existing script that is part
of another system, so this is a fine solution for me at least).
Hopefully it will benefit someone else.

Cheers,
James.

This one was particularly interesting as it was on the rrdtool mailing list,
and the two users have provided working examples but neither seem valid to me.
