Hi,

The best way is to NOT try to fix things yourself in the database. Just
copy the full database and follow cacti's directions after you log in.
Cacti has update scripts incorporated for all 0.8.7 releases.

Of course you should still copy the rrd files appropriate. Please find
the migration pages in the FAQ/docs section of the web-site.
