Hi,
We would like to use Cacti to graph our temperature sensors (Watchdog
MiniGoose II).
We have imported user contributed template
"usertemplate:host:itwatchdogs:cacti_host_template_itwatchdogs_-_goose_series.xml"
and it has created the following successfully:
Import Result:
Cacti has imported the following items:
CDEF
[success] ITW invert analog sensor [new]
GPRINT Preset
[success] Normal [update]
Data Input Method
[success] Get SNMP Data (Indexed) [update]
Data Template
[success] ITWatchdogs - Builtin [new]
[success] ITWatchdogs - airFlowSensor [new]
[success] ITWatchdogs - TemperatureSensor [new]
Graph Template
[success] ITWatchdogs - Builtin - Temperatures [new]
[success] ITWatchdogs - Builtin - Analog [new]
[success] ITWatchdogs - Builtin - Physical [new]
[success] ITWatchdogs - AirFlow Sensor [new]
[success] ITWatchdogs - Temperature Sensor [new]
Data Query
[success] ITWatchdogs Builtin [new]
[success] ITWatchdogs TemperatureSensors [new]
[success] ITWatchdogs AirFlowSensors [new]
Host Template
[success] ITWatchdogs - Goose series [new]
However, it does NOT generate the following files in
/usr/local/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/ :
* weather_goose_airflow_sensor.xml
* weather_goose.xml
* weather_goose_temperature_sensor.xml
Of course, no graph can be created since it will complain XML file not
found error.
What is the process of creating those files? Does anyone has those file
created and may be
share with us?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Steven.
