I compared the tcpdump of the logon sequence to jabber server via cicq and
via gaim. The problem with cicq is in requesting "Agent list" feature.
I tried to compile cicq from 20060929 witch applied patch sent by Magnus
Henoch but I'm still failing with error:

configure: error: conditional "am__fastdepCXX" was never defined.
Usually this means the macro was only invoked conditionally.
configure: error: ./configure failed for firetalk

Hints from google are not working. Do you have some idea?
Or some voluntieer to build package for Ubuntu dapper?

Many thanks.
