All newer versions failed to install do Ubuntu Dapper distro. The Ubuntu Edgy has already 4.21.0-16. I tried to install 4.21.0-11 [thanks for thos version]. I've got a plenty of dependency errors: libc6, libcurl3, libgcc1, libgnutls13, libgpg-error0, libssl0.9.8, libstdc++6. Anyway I tried to run it. It failed to load libgnutls-openssl.so.13. I just crated symlink from installed libgnutls-openssl.so.12 to libgnutls-openssl.so.13 - yes I know, it's stupid. Centericq is just now able to run without the usage of SSL. I need to let encryption switched off. But who wants to have jabber chat plain text? :( May be that I will live with it until somebody will build backport of the 4.21.0.16 from Edgy to dapper. Since I know centericq I'm not able to use gaim [or any other gui version]. What is your opinion to mcabber?
