Hi,

Does the CVS code (available through the ./misc/cicqsync tool) have these
(security) patches applied?

Tiger!P, if not, could you apply these patches to the CVS? Who has write
access to the CVS besides the Founding Father, do you have access?

January 16th this year, Julien Lemoine wrote two URLs to patches in a list
message. He is the maintainer for the CICQ Debian packages. Maybe the Debian
Testing source of CICQ could be used as "4.21.0-patched" develop version.

The patches applied to the CICQ source for Debian can be found at the
following link [1]. I think this source code [2] is a good code base for
developing code if the patches are not applied on the CVS.

Releasing a new version 4.22.0 including the patches would be nice too :-)
Version 4.21.0 was released at September 4th, 2005 and having people to use
the vanilla version is not a good idea anymore.

Cheers,
Jayjay
