msn segfaults

Hi Guys,

This seems to be an ongoing issue with centericq and its msn transport implementation. Under open/freebsd
i could never get msn to work with centericq, to the point where I had to disable msn completely
at configure time so it would run, I am now trying centericq-4.21.0 on a linux machine

alex@panther:~$ uname -a
Linux panther 2.6.15-23-server #1 SMP Tue May 23 15:10:35 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux
alex@panther:~$ gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/3.4.6/specs

builds fine, runs ok, but if i add an msn account, it segfaults when logging in *sigh*

Is there some inherant issue with centericq and msn segfaulting that nobody can fix?!?!?
Perhaps someone should rewrite the msn transport for centericq, perhaps the centericq
developers can look at the source code for gaim and see how they did it.. They seem to
have gotten it right.

Sorry if this seems like a whinge. I just want to know what I can do to resolve this problem (not the first time).
