Well I think that this is necessary because looking
into the code to add utf-8 support I realized that all
the interfaces of the ktools objects (those used in
the UI) have to change to user wchars instead of
chars. So, since we have to change interfaces anyway,
it would be better to refactor them as well and make
code simpler.

Localization is not only about translating languages,
but also using different number notations, currencies,
etc. Obviously in centericq this is very limited, yet
I'm sure that there is room for improvement. Even thou
I did not look in the code for this kind of issues so
I can't really say...

Everyone is asking, so it is a lot of work that should
be done...

Didn't look into the code for that either, so we'll
see...

I love the ncurses UI and that's the reason why I
chose centericq. Yet making it usable with other
frontends would be a great feature in my opinion. We
don't have to develop another UI, just make it
possible to do so without modifying the basic code.
