What does Error 503 mean ?

I have no problem connecting to the site minlinux.com by using Gaim.
When using centericq i got this:

+ [jab] connecting to the server
+ [jab] error 503
+ [jab] disconnected

Does anyone know what error 503 means or where i can find info about error
numbers?
(today is the first time i tried centericq....)
