Strange behavior of umlauts with ncursesw

Hi all,

I'm back again. I finished building cicq from the latest git revision a
few days ago and did some testing on it (linked against ncursesw, so it
should be "UTF-8" capable).

Now I have a very strange problem with my german umlauts. Some of them
aren't displayed correctly. Does anyone have any idea why?

Problem: Some umlauts are displayed correctly, some not.

I attached a screenshot of the centericq's settings dialog. But this
also happens for other dialogs and in the main window
(status-description). Maybe it is related to capital letters??? But
then, why?
