Of course. :( How could I forget this? Now, it compiles and works fine!

Julien, you might want to add this package to the build-depends, don't
you? I could send you a patch, but I think it does not make that much
sense here, does it?

BTW: Stephane, Julien: What about adding the debian build files into the
GIT repository? What do you think?
