I'll admit that the lack of a release in about two years kinda scared me 
from going back to using it.  There are other tools that do the same job 
as cricket that are getting more attention.  Nevertheless, after looking 
over what is available I prefer cricket for several reasons -- mostly 
related to SNMP versus custom clients.

Cricket could use a few more bells and whistles but is really pretty 
feature complete IMO.  So far I've worked around the limitations with 
some custom cgi.
