I'm wondering if going down the path of Cricket again, means that I will be going it alone.. While I have a pretty nice system built yet again and polling much more data then I have In the past and utilizing email alerts etc. I'm still wondering if I should scrap this effort and start all over with a product that still has a growing user community and one that seems to be available for questions. Not a stab, I want to know and no I'm not looking for everyone to jump when I have a question, but wondering when I post a question that has not been asked nor is in the Archive whether there is assistance available anymore? RRDpoller question: One question is the use of rrdpoller and the use of it to connect Cricket with Nagios or other. The issue appears that cricket uses references of ds0 ds1 (datasource instance #, rather then datasource name), now obviously I can spend the time and map out my ds# to my datasource name (kind of silly), but is there another way. Let me know either way, Cacti and munen(munin) seem to be going strong, but I have no issues with command lines and non gui admin, but I am a fan of a user community that is still working on the project and available for quick questions Thanks Tory
