I'm trying to configure cricket to monitor FlexLM licenses. I'm a Newbie to
cricket

Platform is x86 running RHEL 3

Installed rrdtools
Installed Perl info from CPAN

Installed cricket (local user cricket)

copied sample-config from cricket to ../cricket/config-cricket

Edited the cricket-conf.pl

Added code from Matthew Stier's flexlm1.tar to config-cricket
Ran the flexlm-generator from Dan Harris

Cricket install problems
----------------------------------
Needed to edit cricket/collector to include
use lib qw(<path to RRDs.pm>);

Needed to edit cricket/compile to include
use lib qw(<path to cricket/lib);
for Common/Version.pm

FlexLM problems
-------------------------

run cricket/collector
Can't exec "/home/cricket/cricket/cricket-config/flexlm/.flexlm" : No such
file or directory at /home/cricket/cricket/cricket/lib/exec.pm line 62

I'm attempting to monitor Telelogic DOORS usage

perl /home/cricket/cricket/cricket-config/flexlm/.flexlm 19353@ch-flexlm
<mailto:19353@ch-flexlm>  telelogic DOORS

does return the correct number of current users (copied the name from the
error message so no typos, missing directories, etc.)

Tried changing permissions on .flexlm (055) and got error as above but
Permission denied (so the file does exist)

Perl is v5.8.0

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix?

(I only want the FlexLM stuff - not interested at the moment in the routers
and all the other goodies)
