I have some new linux RHEL 8-way and 16-way mixed servers.
I noticed that the (net-snmp) ssCPU... units are cumulitive; i.e. on a
idle 8-way I get near 800% idle time!
I didn't see and easy way to retreive the number of CPUs via SNMP, so I
created some files local test files with this info; and did the following
datasource myCPU
ds-source =
file:0:/local/apps/cixscm/cricket/data/%auto-target-name%
desc = "Num CPUs"
then I tried to scale the graph
graph UCD_ssCpuRawUser
scale = myCPU,/
but it didn't seem to like that...
no I'm kinda lost as to a direction to take...
