Using "targets" to draw graphs in two columns?

Hello

Using the "targets" option I build one page which nicely shows every
upstream interface on a glance. Sadly all interfaces are drawn below
each other which wastes space. Can I have them drawn in two columns
like MRTG does it?

	router1 router2
	|/\__/\_/| |/\_/\_/\|

	router3 router4
	|/\/\_/\/| |/\__/\/\|

        router5 router6
	|/\__/\_/| |/\_/\_/\|

As it's probably not possible, any hints where to start looking when
I decide to patch cricket myself?

bye,

-christian-
