OS for Cricket server

I am wanting to try Cricket on my network, almost entirely Cisco. My server admin manager has asked if Cricket can run on AIX or Windows 2003 server. Does anyone have experience with running Cricket and RRDTool on either of these OSs? Any other recommendations?
