Issue with SPAN

I'm trying to get the SPAN command to work on a threshold, but it
doesn't appear to be "resetting" after a good poll. We have some devices
that shoot up in CPU during nightly backups so we would like to change
the threshold to get two pages before sending out a trap. I though we
had it working, but now we just get the pages every other day.

Here is the threshold I have configured:

target   Device1
   snmp-community = %new-snmp-community%
   target-type  = Nokia-IPSO
   short-desc   = "Corp1 CheckPoint - Pilot Internal (clear)"
   display-name = "Corp1 CheckPoint - Pilot Internal (clear)"
   min   = n
   max   = 70
   monitor-thresholds   =  "checkpointTotalCPU : value : %min% : %max% :
META : SNMP : SPAN : 2"

Any help would be appreciated.
