Thanks Ed, I did do that and it is working. I was just trying to find out if they was any other way of doing this. Yes, one should always check DNS when there is any weird delay problem. > I have another problem. > I have routers that have Traffic Shaping. I do not want to collect data > for this interface. You can remove the "--vendorint" from the command line invocation - that will stop all fancy Cisco-specific items from being monitored. That's probably not what you want, though, since then you'll lose the Cisco CPU stats and other useful things. To exclude only the CAR (traffic shaping) stats, you'll need to find this code in genRtrConfig: 1315 ### Walk ccarStatSwitchedPkts if this is a cisco router 1316 ### Traffic shaping counters based on CAR 1317 1318 my %cisco_car; 1319 if ($opts{ciscobox}) { 1320 %cisco_car = gettable('ccarConfigAccIdx'); 1321 } 1322 1323 ### Walk 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.166.1.7.1.1.1 if this is a cisco router 1324 ### Traffic shaping counters based on Class Based Weighted Fair Queued QoS 1325 1326 my %cisco_cbwfq_obj; # Object 1327 my %cisco_cbwfq_pol; # Policy 1328 if ($opts{ciscobox}) { 1329 %cisco_cbwfq_obj = gettable('cbwfqObject'); 1330 %cisco_cbwfq_pol = gettable('cbwfqPolicy'); 1331 } And comment out the stuff you don't want (lines 1319-1321 for CAR stats, lines 1328-1330 for WFQ stats). Note that the line numbers might not match your copy of genRtrConfig exactly, but you get the idea. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
