Its not that I had time to reply to your "sucks" comment but not your 
original post... its that I didn't have an answer for your other 
comment, so I chose to stay quiet. Believe me that I understand the IT 
urgency of getting things done. But consider you never mentioned to the 
list that you were under a deadline. You never mentioned urgency. You 
just asked a question. Most people that deploy something like Cricket do 
so as a project before making it into production usage. Most of us 
understand that... so if we're busy, we might reply later or trust that 
someone else will. Obviously, sometimes that means you don't get any 
answer at all. Its unfortunate, but it happens. However, all answers, 
suggestions, and advice aside, insulting the list is out of place. Thank 
you for your apology. I'm sure Marc thanks you too.

Since I'm on the subject of giving advice, next time consider *just* 
apologizing. It will go a lot further. An apology immediately followed 
by a justification is truly just an excuse and empty words. A real 
apology just says "I was wrong. I'm sorry. It won't happen again". Then 
perhaps, in a later post, you could try something like "Hi list, I 
emailed asking for help, but am not seeing any replies. Is this list 
active". Try following every apology with a justification in a marriage 
and see how long the marriage lasts.

Finally, consider this list is not as active as it once was. 
Documentation for anything over a basic setup is sparse. If you need a 
product with a more active mailing list, there are alternatives to Cricket.
