FW: Version.pm installation issue

Hi people, I asked about this issue earlier this week and I have only had
one response, that while helpful did not fix my issue below.  Can someone
else shed some light on it?

Hi I am a complete newby to this product, so please forgive my ignorance...

I am installing the Cricket 1.0.5 release on a OpenSuSe platform.  When
going through the instgalaltion steps,  I get an error running the ./compile
- as detailed below;

Can't locate Common/Version.pm in @INC (@INC contains:
/home/cricket/cricket/lib /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i586-linux-thread-multi
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/i586-linux-thread-multi
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/i586-linux-thread-multi
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl .) at ./compile
line 32.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ./compile line 32.

I have performed the symlink and placed it in numerous locations to see if
this was the cause, to no avail.

Here is hoping someone can assist...
