genDevConfig RC2

Hello,

I have a FreeBSD 5.4 system with:
perl-5.8.8_1
cricket-1.0.5_2
rrdtool-1.2.26

I picked up the latest genDevConfig and have been having problems. 
Admittedly I am a novice to scripting. After I followed the install 
instructions I have tried to run:

/data/cricket/cricket/util/genDevConfig -C blah myhost --loglevel=debug

and I end up with this:

Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at 
/data/cricket/cricket/lib/ConfigTree/Cache.pm line 48.
Use of uninitialized value in numeric eq (==) at 
/data/cricket/cricket/lib/ConfigTree/Cache.pm line 58.

Can't locate object method "parse_flags" via package "self" (perhaps you 
forgot to load "self"?) at 
/data/cricket/cricket/plugins/genConfig/NetSNMP.pm line 218.


In order to even run that previous command I must make a change in my 
Cache.pm file. I have to change line 48 from:
my($file) = $self->{"Base"} . "/config.db";
to
my($file) = $self->{"Base"} . "/data/cricket/cricket-config/config.db";

otherwise it craps out on not finding the config.db and then switch it 
back before the collector tries to access it and dies.


It seems as though I have a new vs old problem. Is it that the coding 
style I have in my cricket is not up to date with the latest 
genDevConfig RC2?

Any help to solve these (probably simple) problems would be greatly 
appreciated.
