Hi, I was doing some testing with dhcp-server-4.4.1, and although option netbios-name-servers is configured, is not being pushed to the client. This is the tcpdump that I see (verified also with wireshark) and netbios-name-servers is no where to be found in the DHCP Offer. 17:50:38.398426 IP (tos 0x10, ttl 128, id 0, offset 0, flags [none], proto UDP (17), length 353) 192.168.0.15.67 > 192.168.0.21.68: [udp sum ok] BOOTP/DHCP, Reply, length 325, xid 0x88cd9dd1, secs 1, Flags [none] (0x0000) Your-IP 192.168.0.21 Client-Ethernet-Address 08:00:27:80:d0:80 Vendor-rfc1048 Extensions Magic Cookie 0x63825363 DHCP-Message Option 53, length 1: ACK Server-ID Option 54, length 4: 192.168.0.15 Lease-Time Option 51, length 4: 2920 Subnet-Mask Option 1, length 4: 255.255.255.0 Domain-Name-Server Option 6, length 8: 192.168.0.15,1.1.1.1 Domain-Name Option 15, length 4: "test" Default-Gateway Option 3, length 4: 192.168.0.15 NTP Option 42, length 8: 192.168.0.15 Am I looking in the wrong place or is it really not working? thanks. _______________________________________________ ISC funds the development of this software with paid support subscriptions.
