Oh, whats even more fun, I took the debugging output that ldap is 
getting from samba, and ran it through another search util.  It returns 
my account just fine.  I've got a feeling that samba is using a 
different Search Scope, but I've no clue how to adjust the scope that 
Samba uses, nor how to find out from the LDAP output what scope is 
being used.
