As long as it's a legal package, that is. ;) I'm working on getting access and working things out, then we'll get going. Things I'm going to work on: 1) All DA code imported into SourceForge's (SF) CVS 2) Import the web page into CVS as well 3) Enter all patches into SF's patch system a) Apply the patches and close them after testing (yes, I said testing ;)). 4) Request for volunteers for the following sections: CVS Admin - Takes care of accounts and non-SF problems. Web Admin - Keeps the web page up-to-date (Simon). - The web page should be edited in CVS, and a script written to pull that to the webpage. Patch Team - A group of people who test patches and comment on them, applying to CVS after they verify the patches work and don't open up any holes. List Admin - Manages subscriptions on the mailing list Maintainer - Keeps track of the teams and keeps them all in line (using only a small, lightly barbed, whip). Should also writeup a Roadmap for DA with input from the other teams. 5) Produce a Roadmap, or at least a release schedule (say twice a year at least?) for DA. Now, these won't be immediately done as I'm not a time god, but I will do them as I have time. ;) Thoughts? -sandalle -- PGP Key Fingerprint: FCFF 26A1 BE21 08F4 BB91 FAED 1D7B 7D74 A8EF DD61 http://search.keyserver.net:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xA8EFDD61 -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.12 GCS/E/IT$ d-- s++:+>: a-- C++(+++) BL++++VIS>$ P+(++) L+++ E-(---) W++ N+@ o?
