I am using an older version of directory administrator as it is the one
that works and comes with my install of SuSE Linux for 390, the version
1.1.9.

When I modify a user account I receive the following error:

A required field is empty, has invalid characters, or your directory does
not support a required object class. Please complete missing fields,
correct invalid characters and check if your directory has support for
needed object classes.

The console simply goes through a list of attributes and lists the old and
the new. The last line that appears is:

LDAP_MOD_DELETE objectclass
        account

Any ideas?

And this one is for the LINUX-390 folks, any idea why my
Directory_Administrator 1.5.1 would crash upon connecting. I downloaded
the SRPM and ran a rpm --rebuild. It complained that I did not have
openldap-devel so I having openldap2-devel decided to execute rpm --nodeps
--rebuild .... The build appeared fine and the install went fine. The
GUI comes up and then when I go through the wizard life is good. Then
upon connecting and of course it tries to load all the user icons, it
crashes.

Thanks!
