Hello Manuel,

I am running RedHat Linux Enterprise Linux Workstation on a Compaq
Presario 900 Laptop.

I have downloaded and installed the software once. It did not run due to
a problem with my gnome desktop. I since tried to remove the package
using rpm -e directory_administrator-1.4.1-i386.rpm. I get the error
message: "package directory_administrator-1.4-1.i386.rpm is not
installed".

Then when I try and install the software from the downloaded rpm in my
home directory, I get the error message, that the package is now
installed. I have since changed my desktop to KDE and am now trying to
do the install. Do You have any suggestions on how I might get delete
the original installation since rpm -e doesn't work?

I think once all instances of the initial install are gone, then I will
be able to install again.

Thanks,
Dan
