Oh.

Perhaps this list is the right place to define some sort of "standard"
or "recommended" tree structure for LDAP organization.   Something like
inheriting or taking into account RFC2307 recommendations.

This is sorely needed to jumpstart or write a jumpstart wizard for empty
LDAP directories, which would populate the DIT with useful elements. 
Naturally, DA should never ever assume the directory conforms to this
recommended structure, but it should recognize it and use it to ask less
questions to the user.
