Hi All, This is a simple question. I have two problems presently. 1 - When modifying an existing object in my openLDAP directory DA crashes straight after pressing OK. The objects were created using ldapadd and only have the minimal required attributes to support centralised authentication. 2 - When creating a new user and populating all the fields, bar the e-mail address field, DA reports an objectclass violation I have: OS: Fedora core 3 DA: 1.5.1 (rpm -rebuild) - worked fine after installing some libraries openLDAP: 2.2.19 In addition to this I have had to allow ldap v2 binds. What I am trying to do is install a patch which I have downloaded. The patch is to fix bug 780434. My questions are: Q1) Does anyone know a reason for DA to crash when modifying an existing LDAP user? Q2) Does anyone know a way to determine / work around the objectclass violation? NB: I noticed a thread which recommended disabling schema compliance. I am not sure if this is still the recommended approach. Thanks, Nathan
