I wrote a command-line tool to add users to a directory. It allows you to specify all of the 
required posixAccount attributes. It doesn't (yet) do uid or uidnumber uniqueness checking, but I 
suppose that wouldn't be too difficult to add. I can send it to you if you like. It's written in 
perl, using Net::LDAP.
